The Spring Launch and Orchid Show was previously held at Royal Horticultural Halls in central London.
After the event was cancelled in 2020, it moved to RHS Garden Hyde Hall in Essex for the start of the 2021 season.
Tickets are due to go on sale in autumn.
A look back at the 2019 show
Displays and exhibits were themed around resourcefulness, sustainability and our relationship with plants. Gardening in urban environments was a key focus of the show; from houseplants to balcony gardening and growing your own fruit and veg.
Wealth of expertise
Growers from across the UK and Europe exhibited their finest spring interest plants to inject colour in our winter-weary borders and pots as well as bringing nature into our homes with flowering and foliage houseplants.
Visitors enjoyed a wide variety of rare and exotic orchid species on display with many available to buy. Specialist growers were on hand to offer all the advice needed to successfully grow orchid blooms.
Practical masterclasses
Creative sessions gave people hands-on experience including:
- Learning how to make dried flower bouquets
- Trying their hand at botanical life drawing
- Taking a masterclass in terrarium gardening
- Decorating cupcakes ‘succulent-style’
