A hanging basket makes for a beautiful outdoor accessory but it’s not always clear on what you should plant in them.
Selecting a good mix of upright and trailing plants such as sweet peas, petunias, begonias and geraniums would work well but there are so many more to choose from.
When planting your basket, always put the biggest plant in the middle to give your creation a good shape, then add two or three (depending on size of the basket) trailing plants. A dwarf climbing variety of a Sweet Pea or small-growing clematis makes a nice addition, especially if it can climb up the baskets chain giving more impact to your creation.
The possibilities really are endless!
